Former Italian undersecretary: China-Italy relations need consistency


Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni’s decision to exit the Belt and Road Initiative was like creating an “earthquake” that caused a reset of relations with China, and now the leader feels the need to restart with the “building a small house,” former Italian Ministry of Economic Development State Undersecretary Michele Geraci said in an interview with CGTN’s Guan Xin. He stressed that a successful relationship with China require consistency and continuity, not erratic changes with ups and downs.
