Military production min. discusses co-operation with Homat Watan party

Egyptian Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed Salah El Din discussed in a meeting with First Deputy Chairman of Homat Watan (the Protectors of the Nation) party Ahmed El Awady, aspects of joint co-operation.

The military production minister highlighted the main role played by the ministry in providing various ammunition, weapons, equipment and advanced electronic systems for the Armed Forces and the Interior Ministry, as well as its participation in implementing different key national and development projects, through harnessing all technological, manufacturing, technical and human capacities, said Spokesman for the Military Production Ministry Mohamed Eid Bakr. 

Salah El Din stated his ministry will seek during the coming period to increase the percentage of the local component and localize the latest manufacturing technologies for all civilian and military products, while abiding by high-quality standards.

On his part, the first deputy chairman of Homat Watan party said he probed with the minister, means of activating a cooperation protocol signed between the party and the ministry’s training sector, with a view to enabling young people to find appropriate and sustainable jobs by equipping them with the necessary skills for the requirements of the labor market, as well as empowering young entrepreneurs. 

The spokesman noted that the minister underlined the ministry’s keenness to continuously cooperate and coordinate with all ministries and different state bodies to push forward comprehensive and sustainable development efforts.
