Man to be charged with murder after another man found dead at Yishun Ring Road
When CNA arrived at the scene just before 11am, there were several police vehicles. A crime-scene investigation team was seen walking towards the block.
Police officers were going in and out of the Yishun Ring Road flat. Blood was seen outside the unit.
According to a 12th-floor resident at the opposite block who only wanted to be known as Jerry, he heard shouting between two men at around 8am, thinking it could be his neighbours downstairs.
He saw police cars when he went out to buy breakfast at around 10am.
A resident on the sixth floor, Azamad, said he had known the victim for more than 10 years as neighbours, although they were not close.
He told CNA that he last saw the victim on Monday when they spoke in the lift.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force said it received a call for assistance at about 8.40am, adding that one person was pronounced dead at the scene.
