Defense Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia discuss cooperation
AKIPRESS.COM – Minister of Defense of Kyrgyzstan Baktybek Bekbolotov met with Mongolian Defense Minister Byambatsogt Sandag as part of visit to Mongolia.
The Defense Ministers discussed further strengthening of military cooperation, peacekeeping activities, military training, bilateral events.
Defense Minister Bekbolotov suggested to prepare a draft of cooperation plan between the Defense Ministries for 2025.
Possible participation of military personnel of Kyrgyzstan in Khaan Quest exercise was considered.
The Mongolian Defense Minister accepted the invitation to make official visit to Kyrgyzstan in coming year.
Defense Minister Bekbolotov also met with Chief of the General Staff of Armed Forces of Mongolia Maj. Gen. Ganbyam Sunrev and visited the National Defense University.
