Chinese President Xi Jinping has instructed Xiamen Airlines to play an active role in serving economic and social development and advancing exchanges and cooperation across the Taiwan Straits.
Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, gave the instructions in a reply letter to the airline’s employees on the occasion of its 40th anniversary.
