“We have made a big step forward for advancement of two megaprojects,” President Mirziyoyev says about China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway and Kambar-Ata-1 HPP

AKIPRESS.COM – “There is potential to for manifold increase of bilateral trade between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan to $2 billion in the nearest years, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev said during talks with President Sadyr Japarov in Tashkent.

The President of Uzbekistan said the number of joint ventures and projects grew to over 260 for a short period of time.

“We also actively work on implementation of major strategic projects – China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway and Kambar-Ata hydropower plant. We have made a big step forward for advancement of these projects for the last year. These are complex projects, but you see how successfully we are doing this. This is because there is strive and will of two leaders, two presidents, people of two countries also see this,” President Mirziyoyev said.
