Ministry of Nature increases fines for poaching
AKIPRESS.COM – The fines for poaching have been increased, representative of the Ministry of Natural Resources Adis Madiev said.
The fine for illegal shooting of snow leopard was increased from 1.5 million soms to 2 million soms, of mountain sheep, a brown bear, a Siberian red deer and a goitered gazelle from 1 million soms to 1.5 million soms, of ibex from 100,000 soms to 300,000 soms, and of roe deer from 50,000 soms to 100,000 soms.
Citizens who report illegal shootings will be able to receive 50% of the fine as a reward, Madiev noted.
