116, 21 June 2024, Regarding Armenia’s Decision to Recognize the State of Palestine / Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Foreign Affairs

We welcome Armenia’s decision to recognize the State of Palestine, following countries such as Spain, Ireland, Norway and Slovenia.

As we have always emphasized, the recognition of Palestine is a requirement of international law, justice and conscience.

Türkiye will continue its efforts for more countries to recognize Palestine.
