Moana 2 teaser is now Disney’s most-watched trailer for an animated movie with 178 million views in 24 hours

There’s just no telling how far Moana will go. Disney dropped the first teaser for Moana 2 on Wednesday (May 29) and it seems like the company will have another hit on their hands. The one-minute-44-second trailer earned 178 million views across multiple social media platforms, including Facebook, TikTok and X, within 24 hours.

This makes it the most-watched trailer for an animated Disney movie – beating out previous record holder Inside Out 2.
