Police car involved in Tampines accident; woman taken to hospital, officer assisting with investigations
SINGAPORE: A 48-year-old woman was taken to hospital after an accident involving a police car in Tampines on Friday (Apr 12).
The Singapore Police Force (SPF) was alerted to an accident at the junction of Tampines North Drive 2 and Tampines North Drive 1 at about 10.35am.
The woman, who was a passenger, was taken conscious to Changi General Hospital. The 20-year-old officer who was driving the police car is assisting with investigations, said SPF.
A photo on the Singapore Road Accident Facebook page showed the aftermath of the crash between a police car and a black car outside Courts Megastore in Tampines.
Two police officers in luminous raincoats can be seen in the photo.
