Traditional temple fairs have returned to Beijing during this year’s Spring Festival holiday after being suspended for several years due to the pandemic. Locals and tourists alike flocked to the many iconic outdoor venues across the city on the first day of the Chinese New Year to enjoy folk arts and activities for leisure and recreation, and to soak up the festive atmosphere at the temple fairs.
