BANGKOK : Thailand’s exports are expected to fall 1 per cent this year, versus a previous forecast for a drop of 1.0 per cent to 1.5 per cent, amid sluggish global demand, the Thai National Shippers’ Council said on Tuesday.

Exports, a key driver of Thailand’s economy, are seen posting growth of 1 per cent-2 per cent in 2024, versus zero to 2 per cent growth previously projected, the group said a statement.

(This story has been corrected to add the missing word ‘down’ before 1 per cent in the headline)
