Gunfire and explosions were reported on the Lebanon border, as the IDF responded to the infiltration of several suspects into Israel.
“The IDF neutralized a number of terrorist infiltrators who crossed from Lebanon into Israel. We are defending our country and stand ready on all borders,” the IDF said.
Local media reported that two of armed infiltrators from Lebanon into Israel have been killed.
Residents of several towns in the area have been instructed to remain locked in their homes.
