The 2023 Doha World Horticultural Expo is set to begin on October 2, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. It will run until March 28, 2024, and expects to welcome around three million visitors from all over the world.

The theme of this expo is “Green Desert, Better Environment” and features four sub-themes: modern agriculture, technology and innovation, environmental awareness, and sustainable development. It will be held in the Al Bidda Park which covers an area of 1.7 million square meters, offering breathtaking views of the azure waters of the Arabian Gulf. Visitors can have an extraordinary experience here, including the opportunity to explore the botanical gardens.

This expo will make history as the first A1 category international horticultural expo held in both Qatar and the Middle East and North Africa region. The expo aims to inspire the international community to adopt innovative solutions to combat desertification, raise awareness about the environment, promote environmental consciousness, and encourage people to change their perspectives and take action.
This event will serve as a platform to showcase various creative ideas and concepts, fostering international collaboration towards a sustainable future based on common goals and collective action.

In the next month, local Chinese residents in Qatar will also join the expo and present various cultural performances with distinct Chinese cultural characteristics, including dance and instrumental music.
